I've had an Incipio Orion slipcase for more than 10 years and I like it a lot - it's served me for several MBAir generations and it's a great way to carry my machine around. Now, I'm upgrading from my 2015 MBAir to the 2020 model just released and the form factor is quite different. Unfortunately, Incipio no longer makes a slipcase for MBAirs. Has anybody run into something similar? I've inserted a picture below.

this is the one I have for my 2018 Air. I got the black one and I love it!! Read the reviews and you will be sold. They have a leather version too but the neoprene is the way to go in my opinion.

Yes, I'm sold. I ordered the black neoprene, as well, directly from Acme Made even though Amazon carries it. I figure Amazon gets a cut from the sale so why not let this company get the full amount instead? They do ship free anyway within 5-7 days and I'm in no hurry since the estimated delivery date for the MBAir is April 3.

Thanks for pointing me to this slipcase!

Good for you!! I think you'll really love it. Report back and let us know what you think once you get it. I'm sure others would love your opinion in addition to mine.

I bought a felt sleeve from this Etsy merchant:

I used a neoprene sleeve with my MacBook 2007. However in the past ten years I have favored sleeves made from natural materials instead of artificial ones.

I'm still okay with neoprene for my wetsuit though. 😉

I received my MBAir last Friday and, after installing a skin on it, have tried the slip case. This is very nice! The fit is good and it is a good substitute for the Incipio that I had been using with my previous MBAirs. A bonus for me is the elastic strap to keep the MBAir secure; unlike the Incipio which didn't have a strap.

Thanks for the recommendation, lambertjohn!

Hi! Planning to get this sleeve too. Just to confirm, what size did you get for your M1 Air? A Small? Thanks!
