For the original iPhone I had a Belkin case which it would slip into from the top, and it had a belt clip on it. The phone would not be used in the case, and I liked it that way. In fact, this is the case: http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/3578944/aview/belkin_iphone_holster_case_F8Z169-BLK_final.JPG

Since upgrading to the 4, I haven't found any similar cases designed for the newer phones. Upon upgrading to the 5s today, I resigned to buy this in the store: http://store.apple.com/us/product/HB933ZM/A/sena-laterale-duo-case-for-iphone-5?fnode=47

This is manageable, except that I keep my phone in my pocket, and with the other vertically designed clip case, I could reach into my pocket and slide the phone out of the case with one hand. I can't do that anymore with this one obviously.

Does anybody know if there is a case like what I'm looking for for the 5/5s? I'm tempted to cut open one end of this leather case I just got.

By the way, I don't need there to be a clip on it.

Well, that turned out to not be what I'm looking for. It grips too tightly on the phone, so I can't remove it from the case with one hand while it's in my pocket.

You'd think that with a trillion cases on the market it would be easy to find what I'm looking for.

I want a case like the Sena Laterale Duo, but that is oriented vertically rather than horizontal.

Does anybody know if this exists???

Thanks.
