I was watching the Apple event from yesterday morning on the Apple events site today. When I was watching I noticed that the presenter (Phil Schiller) made a clumsy slip up when rounding up the new features.
I thought I heard his say that 'IOS 5 is the best phone we've ever made'. At first I thought I missheard but going back, I realised I was definitely right.

Watch the video;

It happens at 52 mins 18 seconds. (52:18)

Watch it and see what you think.

I find it quite amusing :D

Can you blame him for being nervous though? I would be if I was introducing any product of that caliber.

Obviously, I think we all would. I just think that overall, it should have been a bit more professional. That is his job and he should be unveiling it proudly and with confidence. I don't blame him, nerves often do overcome us, I just find it rather amusing. :)

I just find it amusing how they can slip up like that. Honestly, the stammering and difficulty to place words in sentences shows how unrehearsed it was. You'd expect an event like that to be a bit more professionally and well put together considering its Apple we're talking about!

When was the last time you presented something on stage in front of 300+ people?

Give the guy a break, he's only human.

Good reason not to work for apple, scrutinized for EVERY ***** LITTLE THING that's ever said

You do better.

Saying "iPhone 5 is the best phone we've ever made" at all is a bit redundant though, no? Every new iPhone has improved on the last, so I think it was fairly obvious :p

And not for nothing. But it's Phil Schiller. No Alan. :D

Indeed.

Slip up? Perhaps he should take a step back next time before criticizing someone on such a minor mis-step.
