Okay I don't know if this is a hardware issue or a software issue, but I need some help trying to narrow it down. I'm new to OSX so I'm not sure where all to look. I have a 12" powerbook on a network with PCs. I have transfered files to the powerbook previously over wired ethernet and all seemed well. Tonight it seemed REALLY slow. And I'm not sure what's screwed up. When I do speed tests online to test my broadband connection I get good speeds but transferring a file from a PC to my mac is very slow around an hour for a 600+mb file. I have ethernet manually set to 100 base tx at full duplex and I also have Windows sharing on and personal file sharing on.
