Slow AirDisk Speeds

Hi,

I just set up Time Machine to use a 80GB LaCie External HDD that is connected to my AEBS. So far, it has taken 30 minutes to back 2.5 GB of data. Why is this so slow? I'm connected via Gigabit ethernet, shouldn't I be getting 480Mbits/sec, or close to that speed? What is going on here?

Airdisks are not supported. Apple's updates just happened to enable it. Time Capsule is the only supported wireless HDD. If it works, it works but don't expect anymore than that.
