I have 2 aluminum macbooks in my household...both on the same wireless network with a belkin router

Macbook 1 can connect to the wireless network and can browse the web at high speed

Macbook 2 can connect to the wireless network but for some reason cannot browse the web at high speed...its as bad, if not worse than 56k speeds

Another thing to note is that I thought it might have been the airport on macbook 2 causing problems but when we take our laptops to school, both laptops can connect to the school internet fine and browse at high speeds

Any ideas what could be causing this problem and how to approach it? Thanks in advance!

Tip: go to about this mac, check under more info and check your network wifi. I check the channel and notice everyone around me was on the same channel, try changing your channel on your router and see if that helps. I also keep up with software updated. Good luck:)
