Have a stock Macbook Pro 2010 15" with the i5.

It had an abnormally slow boot. About 4-5 minutes and it wasn't loading anymore around 95% in the OS loading screen. The fan came on full blast. Bottom of the machine got pretty hot. Battery was at 66% when I shut down.

So I held the power button to force shut down. Let it sit for about a minute. Pressed the power button to boot again but nothing happenes. Battery light now flashes 1 blinking green dot. I have the charger connected but it still will not power on. I suppose I'll let it sit for a bit longer.

Ironically I was just about to install an SSD..

Any ideas?!

Booted after being on the charger for about 20 minutes. I think my battery is kaput!
