Slow boot powerbutton till Apple logo

hi guys,

I have a problem.
I have a late 2008 BTO unibody 2.8 and its working fine !
But i didn't noticed until i saw a few boot up videos on youtube, that my boot is very slow. I mean from pressing the power button till the apple logo takes about 13 sec only!
I recently installed Intel 320 and the total boot takes more than 30-40 sec from cold boot, while you guys are blazin at 20sec.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Has it something to do with EFI or SMC?

Check that your hard drive is selected (highlighted) in Sys Prefs > Startup Disk.

Yes the Intel SSD is highlighted.
