Slow boot time (GM)

I've just upgraded from Sierra to the High Sierra GM on my 2017 13" MacBook Pro with Touchbar and the boot time seems very slow. I timed it at about 30 seconds to boot to desktop. Is this normal?
 
Fixed by going to Settings -> Startup Disk -> Restart. Not sure what is changed compared to a normal restart but booting quickly now.
