Slow boot up after Driver update

Hi everyone

Sorry my first post has to be a problem/question.

I've just updated the drivers for my cintiq 13hd, and the mac crashed on the restart phase of the install due to a program failing to close properly (viber).

Now my macbook pro retina (2012 running version 10.9.5) is super-slow on boot-up. Takes about ten minutes to load up.

Is there anything I can try to fix it?

Reinstall the old drivers???

Reinstall the old drivers???

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it hasn't seemed to work.

I think the install has affected something else.
