Hi all,

I've recently upgraded my MacBook Pro into MAC OS X 10.6.2 and I started to experience a low booting time (over 17 seconds).

Any ideas about that?

Another issue, when I start the computer I always get the starting screen where the apple logo is shown as zoomed. I tried to check the display but its fine. Its bothering me this way and I would appreciate any suggestions about it.

Thanks

do you have an SSD? If not then you will never get a 17 second boot. If you do have an SSD I found 10.6.3 slowed my boot down and to get it back I deleted my application caches using cleanmymac and it was back

Try OnyX. Why don't you sleep your Mac instead of shutting down? Only time I shut down/restart is when an update asks me to or if I leave the house for +24 hours
