Slow Charging Iphone 5

My car has a USB charging port. I used to be able to get my phone from dead to almost 100% in about an hours and a half. Now, it barley at 30%.

I replaced the lightning cable but no luck. Any Ideas on how to reset this?

Charging off a wall outlet is very fast.

Even though you said charging off a wall outlet is very fast, I'm going to suggest resetting the phone immediately prior to charging in the car to see if that makes a difference.

Also, weak signals (cellular / wifi) use more power. Have your driving habits / locations changed?
