Hello All,

I've got plenty of free space (40 gigs) and 1 gig of ram on my year old blackbook. For some reason my finder has a very slow response time ever since I installed leopard. Takes a few seconds for the contents of a folder to appear and a few seconds for a response when deleting/copying a file. I made a video of this happening. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this? Thanks!

But it looks like you are accessing a shared folder/volume? Repair permissions? Run Disk Repair? Reset PRAM?

I would create a new user account first. See what happens. After that try and archive and install if need be.

The folder isn't on a shared volume, rather, a folder I created.

I've repaired disk permissions with little to no results however, I will try to run disk repair and reset PRAM and see what that does.
