Hi, so I’ve switched to Apple TV from nvidia shield. I like it, everything in our house is Apple so it’s nice to have everything talking nicely to each other.
But what is the deal with the extremely slow photo loading times? Is it normal?
I know it can be slow at times on phone/Mac but at least you have the saved thumbnails which can take the edge off a bit.
Funnily enough videos play quite quickly, but photos take ages, and Live Photo’s are ridiculous..
I have all my photos on google too, and on the shield they loaded instantly. I was thinking of downloading all the older ones off google and getting them on iCloud exclusively, but if this is normal then nah..
was trying to get my uninterested wife excited about the new tv, but it was embarrassing going through photos 🤦
edit: ATV is wired to our 100mb connection, so connection speed isn’t an issue. And same behaviour with new photos or old
