Slow internet connection w/ airport express

My airport express with the fastest connection provided by time warner is way to slow. I'm talking 10 minutes to load a 3 minute youtube video. Will an extreme solve my problem and provide a fast connection? I live in a small apartment, so I don't see range as a problem.

I'm not downloading anything or streaming elsewhere, just trying to watch movies and browse.

Doesn't look like you need a hardware upgrade, unless if the one you have is not functioning correctly. You defintely have some network issues, 10min to load a 3min clip is way too long.
