Hi,
I have a 15" 2018 MacBook Pro running the latest MacOS 10.14.5. When I am on a gigabit fiber connection, after a fresh boot, I get around 517Mbps/352Mbps and 4 ms ping. After using the computer for a few hours, if I run the speed test again the speeds go down to 70/70 with the same 4ms ping. Reconnecting to the wifi does not change anything, but if I restart then the speeds are restored. I have confirmed that there are no programs running when I do the speed test after keeping the computer up for a few hours.
Any ideas on why the internet slows down after keeping the computer on for a few hours and why restarting fixes it?
Thanks!
