slow itunes on a PC

i'm sure other people has had this problem as well. i own a pc(for now he he he) and i have all these apple like applications on it including itunes. itunes is really slow on my laptop for some reason. i have a very good sony vaio fz 2.2 core 2 duo with 2 gigs of ram. i don't know why but its very very laggy and slow. any help would be great thanks

iTunes runs fine on much slower PC's so I'm not sure why you're having issues. Are you running XP or Vista?

vista, its ridiculously slow. i have 2500 songs, a couple music videos and barely any pictures. typing in a word in the search box is laggy, i finish the word before it displays

There's your answer Vista that resource hog LoL, iTunes runs slower on Windows the search lag is normal on Windows as well.
