After auto SL install on MP Pro 2.16 Ghz Intel Core 3 Duo --

Firefox 3.5.2 slow to not loading pages, especially my own! Safari 4.0.3 a little less slow, also balky on my own. Dreamweaver had trouble, timed-out uploading, worked after a few tries.

Checked Explorer XP PC on same internet connection, fine.

Also, into Photoshop CS2, screen suddenly blue, a pause, recovers, three or four times now.

As for the first few things, have you done a restart since you installed Snow Leopard? The first session tends to be a sort of "burn-in" session and it gets a lot faster after a restart.

As for the second thing, did you install Rosetta when you put Snow Leopard on? It is an optional install now, but required for CS2.

If he didn't have Rosetta installed, CS2 wouldn't even run.

I actually found that Rosetta remained installed (from my existing Leopard installation) when I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I installed QuickTime Player 7 as an optional install after I'd upgraded, though. QuickTime X, although pretty, is really annoying me.

SLOW reply

Thanx S,

Yes, I was prompted to install Rosetta and did so when I tried to open Adobe Bridge. The "hiccup" may have co-incidental with Photoshop, might have happened once with Dreamweaver too.

I've restarted a couple of times. Will try again later.

Again, I appreciate your quick response.
