I've been having problems for the last week or two loading the main page. The page will load halfway, then pause for 5-10 seconds, and then finish loading.

I have determined (through use of Safari's Activity window) that the ads are the culprit. I have tried everything I can think of to solve this issue, including resetting all my networking equipment, resetting Safari and changing DNS servers, but the problem persists. To further ad to the evidence, when I open up one of the ad links in the Activity monitor, it takes the page 5 seconds or so to load.

I'm on Comcast, but as much as I hate them as a company the cable service seems to be fast and reliable here. I only have this problem on sites that use doubleclick or tribalfusion, but not sites that use Google. I have noticed that here on MR the ad server seems to rotate between the 3, and I only have problems with the ad originates from the problem servers.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? What can be done?
