My MBP is loading up slow of late probably because I have out too much rubbish on it. I am going to put Vista on in this afternoon in Bootcamp so I was wondering if it would be worth to format it? Would an archival format fix this problem or would I be better doing a full one? Or not at all? Any advice would be appreciated

It would be worth trying to use Onyx and see if it helps.

How long have you had your MBP? How many HD space do you have available?
Sometimes it is only one app the one that is making the whole system go slow. Did it started working slow after you installed certain app?

If nothing else works, and you feel that your MBP is still slow, I would recommend a fresh install. Archive & Install normally won't fix this kind of problems.

I put yahoo widget on it and a bunch of other stuff and its just been running slow. I suppose I should try and keep this stuff to a minimum
