I am having a problem with a simple test network that I have setup. I am trying to see if mobile home syncing will work with my business. The server is a 10.6.4 mac mini and I have two client computers. The server domain is server.private. Everything is fine when I'm connected to the server network. But when I roam or take a laptop to a coffee shop or get an internet connection offsite login and password authentication takes a long time (like minutes).
