I was doing data compiling on excel for a project and it was running slow as hell. It took a min just to open up the window to label the graph. My friend put it on his PC and it ran with no problem.

I have the 2.53 with 4 gb of ram and the PC had half the specs.

any reasons why this happened?

Thanks

I would actually open up the Activity Monitor and see if there are any programs or processes running in the background that you are not aware of. In the past, I have noticed a similar slowdown and found that the PrintJobMgr was running in the background and was using a phenomenal amount of systems resources. Shutting it down restored things to normal.

Let us know how you make out........Good Luck.
