Hey guys,

I hope you all can please help me! I have a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro 17 Inch.

2.8 Intel Core Duo
8 Gigs of Ram.
500GB 7200 RPM HDD

It used to start up two months ago in 47 seconds which was really fast and I loved it. Now and it now takes 1 minute and 49 seconds. I used to be able to show off the speed of my laptop and now I just sit there and look at the gray screen forever. ( At least it seems that way )

Any help on how to make her start back up faster? The only diffrence between now and then is I have used around 30 Gigs on my hard drive. I was at 225 and am now at 196 left.

Thanks in advance for the help.
