Slow nehalem start up with Logictech BT adapter

I have a logitech bluetooth adapter with the same broadcom chipset as the internal BT on the mac pro (nehalem) I attached it to my keyboard because my computer is too far away for the magic mouse to work effectively, but with it plugged in the computer takes about 2 minutes to start up. without it, its much faster (40 seconds give or take)

is there anyone with any experience with this??
