Slow network file transfers - Lion MBP

MBP in my sig, I have noticed that since changing to Lion I have slow network file transfers.

I have searched here a lot and not found a great deal of help.

Tried resetting PRAM and NVRAM and this didn't work.

Internet is not so bad, mostly file copies form my Win7 machine.

Any advice?
