Hello
We are seeing an increase of tickets related to slow or no delivery of email and even slower delivery of txt via imessage.
Email sits in the outbox sometime indefinably. imessage usually sends but can take several minutes to reach the recipient.
It appears to have a higher incidence when connected to WiFi networks vs. using LTE.
In many cases the only solution for get the messages to send is to turn on/off airplane mode.

Details:
email is via an on premise Exchange Server 2007
We have lots of different versions of iPhones 4-5s as well as androids-mostly moto droid maxx
Issue is exclusive to iPhone's Androids have no issue with mail.
Not exclusive to any one WiFi network.
LTE issues not exclusive to any one city
Have run several tests re: email and see no issues on our end that would caste this issue.

imessage of course is outside of our control

Getting an increasing level of pressure from our user base and management.
If unable to resolve in the near future directive is to move exclusively to android.
Any insight or direction on a resolution would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance
