Ciao,
I have an issue that I'm not able to fix.
My situation is MacBook Pro 13", Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 NAS and Linksys Router ADSL 54Mbps.
On my NAS I got my music, my pics and my movies and, when I try to access to the public folder with a Windows Laptop with works properly, but If I try to access to the same folders with may MBP it takes ages..
I guess it's something connect to some protocol, but I didn't find anything yet on the web to help me out.
Some of you coul may tell me what to do?
Thanks for your help

Did you open up a case with Iomega?

Are you using SMB to connect to the share? If so see if you can get your NAS to present an AFP share instead.

Several owners of the 2011 MBP (myself included) has had WIFI-issues like the ones you describe. You should see bad network performance in other situations as well in that case. Not just from your NAS. Have your had dropouts in your WIFI-connection?

SMB should work fine. I use that all the time with my macs and get great performance.
