slow scroll wheel

I installed the 10.5.7 update, had problems with flash content, and decided to reinstall 10.5.5. After the reinstall the mouse scrolls very slow. I used to have it set to 3/4 of the maximum setting and scrolling would be very quick. Now at the maximum setting it's about half as fast as it used to be at 3/4. Any thoughts to fix this problem? Terminal commands?

What mouse are you using?

Sometimes, this is caused not by software settings but by a dirty roller ball. This is easy to correct - there are instructions on Apple's support site, here.

I used Time Machine to go back to before I installed 10.5.7. Problem solved.
