my mac has been starting up slower recently, im sure its to do with 10.8.5. update for Mountain Lion.
i have a SSD and usually it boots up in 13 seconds. now i think its in the 30 second zone.
it starts up, and stays blank grow for longer than usual before the apple logo comes.
does anyone know how i might be able to 'fix' this? is anyone else experiencing the same?
EDIT***
nevermind, i think i solved it.
i reselected my SSD as the startup disk.
i did recently create a fresh ML install on an external drive, must have been it.
