I've had my unibody 2.4 since January and it seems that the startup time has gotten quite a bit longer, is there anything I can do to speed it back up a bit, anything I can delete?

You can try running Leopard Cache Cleaner, Onyx, or Cocktail. All esentially accomplish the same thing of deleting cached files in the system.
Could have an effect depending on certain factors, but it most likely won't hurt (I say that because anything at any given time has even the tiniest possibility to cause a problem with a computer).
Also, you can use Disk Utility to repair permissions (the three applications above do this as well), and also verify your disk. If there is a problem reported with the verify, boot up to your system disk and run Disk Utility and it will then allow you to Repair the disk.
