Hello MacRusers,

I recently played around with my Time Capsule after speaking with a friend, that it's possible to stream videos, music, photos etc. from the Time Capsule.

Getting myself an Apple TV 2 in a week, so wanted to play around with it.
I went online and tried to get myself some videos from the internet and download them directly to the Time Capsule.
However, the download speed is slow.
If I try to download the very same file, from the same host, on my MacBook Air (wireless, no ethernet) it's much faster. 5 - 6MB/s on MBA, 1.5MB/s on Time Capsule if I'm lucky.

Time Capsule is plugged directly to our router with ethernet.
MacBook Air is connected through WiFi, two floors above it.

How come the Time Capsule is downloading so slow, when my MBA is much faster?
All settings should be correct, as I disabled WiFi on the Time Capsule.
