Running latest SL and in normal boot mode the desktop takes too much time to load, beach balling for about five mins plus. In safe mode this doesn't happen though, it loads fine.
In normal boot mode the load up time up to as far as the login window is fine, its just when the desktop starts to load things slow down. This seems to have only started since setting up time machine, but I find it hard to think it's related.
I've searched for help but nothing covers this topic, all I keep finding is help for blue and grey screen hold ups. I've done pram smc and done repair disk permissions but no change.
