Slow transfer speed?

Just curious if there's something I can do to speed this up? I've figured the fastest way to transfer a file from my mac to pc is http. I've installed MAMP, put my large file in the htdoc root. Accessed computers ip from the PC, and downloaded file just like you would on the web. HOWEVER, I'm getting 1mbps?

Any thoughts?
