My MBP has been lagging on the typing, even as I type this post.
When Im typing It would freeze for a second and then the letters will show.

Nothing is more than 2% in activity monitor.

what is up with this? can someone help me please? this is reallllly annoying!

I don't know about OSX but in Windows this usually means a GPU driver problem. It renders in Software CPU style and that is painfully slow.

What did you change? Is it only in some Apps or everywhere? And what MBP is it (which year)?

The model is the one on my signature.

I didnt change anything it just started doing that, but not all the time, i cant figure out why it happens when it happens. right now as i am typing its not lagging at all. but sometimes it does and its super annoying. what are some of the causes ?

I have the same problem with my late 2009 13 inch Pro.

Text will lag, and the volume control will lag as well. For no apparant reason.

i just noticed the volume control lag as well..

anyone know whats up???

could well be only a driver problem , so i would repair permisions or better reinstall OSX , at least then you know if its software or hardware related

if that doesn't solve the problem , just bring your MacBook Pro's to apple you should have apple care , thats what it was meant for

how do i repair permissions?

Utilities>Disk Utilities>highlight disk>First Aid tab>Repair Disk Permissions

If all hope fails, try booking an appointment with a Genius. Your MBP should still be under warranty.

thanks guys, but none of these worked so far...
This is so annoying, I guess ill be taking my MBP to a genius...
