Hey guys,
I'm doing a super long backup to BackBlaze, and I think, somehow, I've managed to pork my network settings...
My network is capable of uploading at 4.5MB/s, but it will never do that unless I have IPVanish turned on. ... And even then, it only works sometimes. If I don't, it maxes out at 1.5 MB/s.
It uploads to YouTube just fine, with or without IPV.
Thought it might be IPVanish wreaking havoc, so I deleted it. No change.
I created a new network profile in network preferences, and no change. In fact, occasionally I have to delete the current profile, and create another, because the wifi totally stops working...
Out of curiosity, I installed MacOS on an external, installed IPV and BackBlaze, and did some backups for like a week. No problems.
So... *Something* is porked... I just don't know what.
I'd really like to force a full reinstall of the network drivers if that's possible, but.... I have a feeling I messed with something I shouldn't have like 6 years ago and now this thing is not having it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks all.
