Slow wifi speeds? This may help(iPhone 6)

So I was experiencing really slow wifi speeds on my iPhone 6. Guess due to ios8. So I changed my wifi security from wep to wpa2 and my wifi speeds are back to normal. Hope this helps anyone else with this problem.
