Slow Write Speed on New SSD? 2011 MBP

I installed a Sandisk 240gb SSD Plus with fresh Sierra install. I am getting 100mb write and 450-500 read speeds. The write speeds seem very slow. I enabled Trim and it made no difference. Could it be a bad SSD or cable? Is there anything else to try?
