My girlfriend is a teacher and has a MacBook Air (Oct 2010+) 1.86Ghz C2D, 2GB RAM.
She has had some issues when running Smart Notebook (Smartboard software), basically it struggles to load things up and moving images etc around the screen can be very slow, especially if it's more graphical or flash related.
Other than this, the laptop runs absolutely fine doing everything, so I am certain it's not a hardware fault.
For reference, Smart Notebook recommended requirements are a 1.5Ghz processor and 1Gb of RAM; and it seems to run ok on her old school computer which has an old AMD T64X2 and 1GB RAM (XP).
Anyone have any idea what it may be?
If it's a software issue can it be given priority? e.g. on Windows you can set applications to be a higher priority or run in admin etc.
Not used to solving problems on a Mac so I'm pretty much clueless!
