Slower boot after Installing apps?

Hey all,
I installed an OWC SSD in macbook pro, and then installed Lion on it. The booting was really fast, usually the screen with the apple and the spinning gear took mere seconds. After installing my apps, this takes longer, usually up to 10 seconds on the apple + gear screen. Does anyone know if I can find the cause of this slowdown? The apps I installed were: Parallels 7, Office 2011, Dropbox, XCode, iLife, and a few games.
