iPhone XS Max slower notification on iPhone xs max

hi, all. I have an iPad Air (2019) and an iPhone XS Max both under the same WiFi network. They both have A12 Bionic chip. But as I observed, notifications usually arrives earlier on iPad Air than iPhone XS Max, such as iMessage. Do you know what is the possible cause on this difference?
