Slower startup than usual

So I tried 3 or 4 times to install several of these programs on my 2.4 MBP www.nativeinstruments.com , but kept receiving strange errors which wouldn't allow me to install. Contacted the company and they don't have any work around. Trashed all the associated folders, but upon startup (the dark gray screen with the Apple logo) takes ~10 seconds longer to load than it did before. I've run Disk Utility twice, ALL of Onyx's apps 2 times, and restarted/shut down several times since.

I'm pretty annoyed since the startup was very quick before this. Is there any way to fix this? Or should I just delete and reinstall the OS? The comp is only a couple weeks old :mad: Thanks!
 
I timed it at 9 seconds of the gray screen before the gray Apple logo popped up. Then this loaded for 23 seconds before the blue background/white loading box came up. What kind of startup times are you guys getting?
