A little background.

I am trying to get a solid setup ready for my company who is looking to transition their VP's to Macbooks. Running Early 2015 MB Pro 13" with El Capitan, we are using AD with Mobile accounts as well. Yesterday I enabled FileVault and after it rebooted the system hung at the screen where I can select my user to login. The mouse and keyboard reaction were horrendously slow as in move the mouse around and 30+ second later the cursor would move and keyboard reaction was very similar. Doing some research and found that Logitech mouse drivers can cause issues so I unplugged the Bluetooth dongle and rebooted and that seemed to work so I thought issue was resolved and the system completed its encryption and I was able to reboot and have normal functionality.

Later I installed Symantec Endpoint protection and it caused a reboot. When it rebooted the system again hung even without the logitec dongle installed and resetting the NVRAM. After it taking 15 minutes to finally get logged in because of the delay in reaction the system speed was again normal and future reboots did not present the delay again even after installing Firefox as a test and rebooting.

After more research I thought it might be a bug so I decrypted, ran the first aid on the disk and then after rebooting I turned on filevault again. Issue once again returned. I left for the evening and when I came back in this morning the mouse and keyboard reacted normally and I was able to login, let the system finish encryption, reboot and login normally. As another test I installed Office 365 and rebooted and right back to the issue. Its been sitting for 30 minutes and still slow/not reactive and I get the message about Holding the power button down and restarting in recovery mode at the bottom.

So now my question. Is this normal behavior with Filevault after installing certain software or is there something wrong with the system? This is not acceptable behavior if its going to do this everytime we have to install or reinstall a piece of software on a VP's computer.

Any help would be appreciated.
