Heaven or Hell
I just created a new Test User Account on my Mac Pro Tower
and the thing is 100 times faster than my previous user account.

What does this mean ?

How can i make my main user account just
as fast as the brand new test account i created ?

Are my settings messed up ?

thanks !

Log into your slower account. Run Activity Monitor, which is found in /Applications/Utilities. Make sure it's displaying All Processes. Sort by CPU, and RAM usage, and see if anything's odd.

Also, check your Login Items in the Accounts section of your System Preferences.
