Ok, so I'm probably one of few people that still uses a traditional mouse with my Mac but I'm having an issue with Lion. If I middle mouse scroll in apps like a web browser it feels fine, fast and responsive, but if I middle mouse scroll in apps with a text area like Coda or xPad it feels like I'm scrolling through mud. It's slow and sluggish.

I'm confused with what changed in Lion that would cause this and if there is a setting lurking somewhere that will bring my mouse scroller back to it's original feel. I have a feeling it has something to do with bounce/rubberband scrolling but I can't find a setting to disable that either.

Thanks for any help you can offer!
