So my MacMini has gotten real sluggish. Takes a while to load programs and the internet has gotten slower. Are there any programs that I should run to speed things up. Is there any thing I can do to get it back up to the speed when I got it. I still have lots of space left on the hard drive.

Use Onyx (maintenence) and monolingual to remove extra languages and to strip out all of the PPC code in their that you dont need in your applications. I have saved over 5+GB so far.

More RAM would help. 1gb is very little in today's world.

Torrent apps fragments the harddrive beyond the file sizes automatically defrag by OSX, so you need an defrag app.

Another option that might help is a cache and log cleaning app. such as "Yasu" This in one swoop will clear your cache folders as well as system logs.

Is this self explanatory or do you have to search within Onyx to find this?
