The small arrow in the bottom right hand corner that appears when you hold down on a message and select "more" disappears intermittently for me. I have to close the Messages app in the app switcher and restart it to get it to appear. Is this a glitch that has been fixed in subsequent updates? I'm running 8.1.1.

The only issues I've experienced with the messages app were the result of third party keyboards. Once I turned them off, no more problems. Currently on 8.3 but experienced problems with all versions while using other keyboard apps.
Nope. I never knew it existed. Any time I ever wanted to show someone a message from someone else, I just screenshot it.
Not crazy. Pretty typical. Many people use and do different things compared to others.
Who are "most people?" I have never forwarded a message. My wife didn't know the function existed. Neither do a few friends or colleagues.
Also, it works just fine on 8.3.
You're assuming that most people use their phones exactly the same way as you.
I've never forwarded a message. I forward emails all the time, but never a message.
Damn you're crazy with the forwarding lol. I never used it not even once on any my iOS or android devices.
How can you possibly know that, and how is your presumption any less ridiculous than mine?
Because if very few people on these forums use it or even know about it it's a far more rational conclusion that even less typical users even know about let alone use it. Of course some do, but there's nothing to imply that it's even close to a majority, and more rational indicators thst it's the opposite of that.
I've never forwarded a message either. I used to take a screenshot lol. It's nice to know that there is a forward as well as a bulk delete.
