I had some pictures taken this weekend during a para-sailing trip and the pictures are on a CD that is physically smaller than the normal size. I was told this disc will work on a PC, is anyone familiar with this CD format and know if it will be recognized on an iMac? Thanks!

It won't work on an iMac. You can't use non-standard CDs in any slot loading drive.

You need a tray loading CD/DVD drive to read the contents of those mini CD/DVDs.

Don't insert it in any slot loading drive, as that might damage that drive.

Those CD will work in any PC CD-ROM drive ( as long as it is NOT a slot load drive like Macs have )

Your best bet is use a friends PC who has a regular CD ROM drive and grab them off the disc,
