Hi, I'm currently looking to purchase a new Mac, and was wondering if anyone had any recent experiences with Small Dog Electronics. Their prices appear to be the best for the Mac I'm looking at (3.2GHz Mac Pro / 5870.)

I searched the forums, and found some recommendations for them, but most of them were from 2007 and before.

Anybody have any recent experiences with them? If so please share. Anything I should look out for?

Thanks in advance.

MacMall claims they will beat the price of any authorized Apple reseller on new Apple products. Since Small Dog Electronics is an Apple Specialist, this should apply as long as they carry the same product.

Edit: Just checked, I believe you can upgrade the 2.8Ghz with the 5770 with to the same system (3.2Ghz with 5870) for 3094 which looks like it is already cheaper than small dog's price (unless I am looking at the wrong system as small dog) .

^ mine too. (though the last 2 computers I bought I got better prices on the Apple Refurb site)

I haven't purchased anything from them recently, but in the past, I've made quite a few purchases from them. They have always been a classy outfit as far as I'm concerned.
