Building doesn't allow in-suite washer/dryer but we have a dishwasher. I am pretty sure in 2018 there are nice quiet washing machines with a small footprint. I saw some even 10 years ago in Europe and Japan.

Any recommendations?

Do you have the appropriate plumbing?
From what I've seen in Asia the plumbing doesn't need to be anything special because it can be just a hose attached to a faucet. I know in the past north American stratas deems this an issue because in the past special plumbing was needed. But with these new washers, dryers and dishwashers nothing special is needed. Even the power input is the same as a TV.

I just took a look at some for apartments and RVs and yeah they just attach to a bathroom / kitchen sing faucet and regular power outlet. Options in north America are very slim. Options in Japan, Korea and Germany are amazing. I might just bring one over from there.

Let us know what you decide and how it works out. I wasn’t super thrilled with the manual fill one I used some years ago, although maybe they’ve improved.

Does the unit say you can't have one, such as it is on the contract etc? I would have to wonder if the contract does say you can't have one if it would be worth it to invest in one knowing you could be kicked out. I don't know if you are renting or if you own. Just going on the assumption of your building doesn't allow one, that you are renting or in some sort of contact.
