Hi !

So I'll be taking my iPhone 3GS to the Apple Store tomorrow and I was curious about a few things.

There is a small gap between the bezel and the screen. It looks rubbery and it's big enough to stick your fingernail in there all the way around. Do all iPhones have this? Is it possible that the dust under my screen got through this space? And, should I go to the Apple Store and ask them to replace my screen so it doesn't have this gap?

My next question is, are replacement iPhones always refurbished, or is it possible to get a brand new one?

Thanks!

the gap can only let dust through if u can stick your fingernail through it
and the gap is on all devices
replacements are supposed to be refurbished, but u can convince the genius's to give you a new one i.e. faulty replacement, phone is only a few days old, etc...
